Why Being Hidden Keeps You Single (and How to Change That)

Why Being Hidden Keeps You Single (and How to Change That)

What's one simple, essential step required to experience more connection and intimacy in your relationships?
For people to be able to connect with you, they have to be able to find you.
"Your courage and allowing yourself to be seen as you truly are will give permission to others to begin to do the same."
I'm always curious about who people are and what they want. It's one of the first things I ask about when I meet someone. I've found that a lot of people have spent years hiding who they are and what they want. They've learned that it's safer to be someone else.
But that comes at a cost.
When you're hidden, you're also disconnected from the things you want most. You're invisible, and that can be lonely and frustrating. I work with people to help them slowly reveal more of themselves. It's a process of taking small steps and seeing how it feels. As they become more visible, they also become more attractive to the people they want to connect with. And as they become more visible, they also help others around them to do the same
In this episode, you will learn:
    1. How staying hidden impacts your ability to connect with others
    2. Some of the ways we stay hidden, even unconsciously
    3. How revealing more of yourself has a positive impact on those around you and on the world at large

Holy Cow this podcast is AH-MAZING

I used to listen to a lot of different dating podcasts, youtube videos, programs, etc. And I always felt a little weird with the advice they offered. But with Slutty Activism, it is such a lightbulb moment where I feel GOOD listening to it. Sarah is able to break down struggles in sex and dating in ways I've never heard anybody else do before, and then build back up a system that allows for everyone to feel good and spread that good throughout the world.
Defeinitely give this a listen, and keep up the good work Sarah!

so empowering!

This podcast is like a user manual on how loving yourself can help you better love others. Sarah keys-in on a number of deeply ingrained societal factors that make finding a partner, expressing your desire, and connecting sexually with them more difficult than it feels like it ought to be - and she gives great advice on how we can work to overcome the innacurate lessons we have been taught about sexuality and dating. She also articulates a powerful connection between these frustrations and how they enable fascist movements. I frequently find myself rewinding and writing down nuggets of wisdom that seem to give voice to ideas and concepts I've often felt were true, but had never actually heard anyone say! I recommend this to anyone who is intersted in what expressing yourself radically and with purpose can feel like. I don't think it's hyperbole at all when Sarah says this kind of thinking can change the world.
